This week I
read the book “Heaven Is For Real - A Little Boy’s Astounding Story of His Trip
to Heaven and Back.” The book is written by his dad, Todd Burpo, who is the
pastor of Crossroads Wesleyan Church in Imperial, Nebraska. After finishing the
book, I am in awe and totally speechless. I can’t think of anything else. I
can’t think of anything to write this week’s column about, because I can’t
think of anything but the beautifully simple, childlike truths experienced and
shared by young Colton Burpo. The book has quickly soared to #1 on the New York
Times Bestseller List. If you have not read this book, please read it. I wish I
could buy enough books to hand them out to everyone I know. If you want to
borrow my copy, I will loan it to you, but I guarantee you will want to buy a
book for yourself. It just takes a few hours to read this little 150-page book
that may change your life – forever.
